What's in a name?
Cory and his family spent months contemplating a name for this business. Nothing quite fit, until…
One day they started talking about their favorite place – the river that runs behind their home. Having spent a lot of time there over the years - talking, fishing, enjoying nature, letting the pups swim, and building memories – it’s a place that holds special meaning. They were reflecting on the beauty of God’s creations, like the bend in the river– which is also called an oxbow. When they said it aloud, they knew.
And now you know.
We promise to always share the dreams, stories, creative projects, and adventures of Oxbow Woodworks. Don’t be surprised if some of our best ideas are born at the bank of this river, very near the “oxbow” for which we were named.

Cory Beasley | Founder
Cory formed Oxbow Woodworks in the summer of 2023 with the belief that people will always want something handcrafted. With over a decade of experience in woodworking, he has a passion for creating custom woodworking pieces and an expertise for the finishing side of the products. Cory enjoys spending time with clients and learning more about what type of project they're looking to create.
Yosely Pereira | Master Craftsman
Yosely is a skilled craftsmen with more than 40 years of experience creating custom woodworking pieces. With the eye of an artist and the hand of a woodworker, he has the ability to bring your vision to life. As the son of a master craftsmen, Yosely grew up in the trade and understands the power of passing down this art to the next generation.
Honey Beasley | Oxbow Shop Dog
Oxbow products are “Honey tested; Honey approved.” She rules the roost and keeps the Oxbow crew in line. If you don’t find Honey at the shop, you can find her keeping watch over the property, taking a dip in the river, napping in the shade, or riding shotgun with Cory.
